I like my crooked teeth, they go with my crooked smile
I’d love you to see them again but I haven’t seen you in a very long while
I like my darkened thoughts, they go with my darkened mood
I’d love to share them around but I haven’t been out in days
Nobody know how they should act
Nobody knows just they should feel
So they do that dance, that spasmodic dance, again and again
It’s not the point that being made, deep inside this warped exchange
It’s just a scream into the void, a misguided chance to release something, anything
Don’t read beneath the lines
Empathy
Understanding
It’s the little things that cause the most
I had a small-minded notion, dressed it up as a Nation of insular ideas.
You are my insular idea.
